Grade 5 General Music
Grade 5 General Music, students study aspects of:
1. Musical Elements - Students review musical basics and aspects of Melody, Harmony, Form,
Rhythm and Expression.
2. Elementary Piano - students will learn basic two hand piano skills with emphasis on practical
application of musical elements.
3. World Music - Students will listen and learn about both similarities and differences between
western and non-western music.
